Vietnam: Online shopping service growth

With nearly 31 million Internet users, equals to about 34% of the population, Vietnam is a fertile market for the e-commerce services. This is also a good opportunity for the online shopping growing.

 

According to recent statistics of the International Internet Data Centers, as of the date 03 Dec 2012, Vietnam has 30,858,742 Internet users, accounting for 34.1% of Vietnam's population and is equal to 1, 4% of the world's population - ranked 18th in the 20 countries with the largest number of Internet users in the world Quarter I 2012. If compared with the amount of Internet users in Vietnam before the year 2000, only 200,000 people, after 12 years, the number of Internet users in Vietnam has increased by more than 15 times. With cheap Internet price, the number of Internet users will increase further.

 

Experts said that this is the advantage of very favorable to the development of e-commerce services.
